I decided to leave “Corporate America” about 6 years ago after a 17 year career in telecommunications. 2 years ago  I put the finishing touches on my thesis which helped me earn my MA in clinical psychology at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Science Center.  I am now working on my PhD at  The George Washington University  in Clinical Psychology. The reason for such a radical change of careers? Well, I got tired of squeezing every bit of life out of the people that worked for me and having my soul sucked from me. I decided I needed a career in which I could make a real positive difference in people's lives…so here I go… In addition to clinical work, I am interested in research - specifically on HIV prevention, stress, gene/environment interactions, and the unique needs of and challenges faced by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender persons.
